Mirren braves stepping out bare faced for dinner

Most women passed the age of 60 would normally be keen to slap on their make-up and doll themselves up if they knew they were going to be in the public eye.
But not for Dame Helen Mirren, who stepped out for dinner completely bare faced last night.
The veteran actress may be 66 but she was brave enough to show off her natural glow during a date with her husband Taylor Hackford.

But while she ensured her talons were manicured to perfection, the actress opted to not put any cosmetics on her face.
Although she looked healthy as she showed off her tan.
And she still looked smitten with her husband as she grinned and clutched on to him as he led the way out of the eatery.

Helen even cuddled a male friend as they made their way home following the night out.
The Oscar-winning actress is known for her stunning looks as she ages gracefully.
And she stunned fans when she was spotted looking super trim in a bikini a couple of years ago.

But ever the modest star, Helen has previously insisted she only looked so good because she sucks her stomach in.
She has said: 'Holding your tummy in is another trick for making you look and feel good’, adding: ‘I don’t know why, but I do, by nature, hold my tummy in.’
