Ah Oscar night! Its all over for another year! So i stayed up and watched the red carpet with Ryan Seacrest and a Kinder Egg to see who was wearing the most beautiful gowns of the night. These were my five favorites of the evening. There was lots of gowns with sculpted ruffles and shapes going on, but my favorites of these real creations were Vera Farmiga's beautiful deep raspberry dress and Zoe Saldana's gown, a glittering bodice which led into varying shades of lilac and purple layering. I thought Sandra Bullock was channeling classic old Hollywood glamour (loved her simple but elegant hairsyle) and was so happy she won the Best Actress Award! When i first saw Nicole Richies dress from the front on the tv i thought it swamped her which distressed me as she can do no wrong in my eyes but looking at the pictures i think she looked beautiful and i loved the bare back detail. Lastly i really liked Rachel McAdams gown she looked effortlessly glamourous and comfortable which some people did not in the more structured of dresses. So until next year...............
